Tea, considered differently.
Utpatti works with hospitality spaces interested in bringing greater attention to the way tea is selected, brewed, and experienced.
Through origin-led loose-leaf teas, considered brewing, and a closer understanding of each property, we explore how tea can become a more meaningful part of the guest experience.
Tea deserves the same attention as everything around it.
Tea in the Guest Experience
Its origin, character, preparation and the way it is presented can all become part of how a guest experiences a place. Utpatti works with hospitality teams to select teas with character and explore how they might find their place within the guest experience — through the way they are brewed, served and shared.
Tea Beyond the Hot Cup
Tea does not always need heat to reveal itself. Utpatti continues to explore how loose-leaf tea can move beyond the traditional hot cup — through cold extraction, seasonal serves and ingredient-led preparations that allow the character of the tea to remain at the center.
Cold-Brewed Japanese-Style Green Tea
An Indian green tea made using a Japanese-style steaming method, explored through cold extraction and then paired with ginger, honey, freshly squeezed lemon and wild cucumber. The result offered another expression of the leaf — refreshing, layered and suited to a different kind of tea service.
Working With Hospitality
Utpatti works directly with hospitality teams to understand where tea might belong within their particular setting — from the teas themselves and how they are brewed, to the way they are served and experienced by the guest.
A Conversation Over Tea
If you are considering how tea might find a more meaningful place within your property or guest experience, we would be glad to begin with a conversation — and, where possible, over tea.
