Himalayan Oolong
Kangra Valley, Himachal Pradesh
Introduction
Every remarkable tea has a moment when it changes the way you think about tea. For us, Himalayan Oolong was one of those moments.
Delicate yet expressive, it revealed a complexity that quietly unfolded over successive infusions and reminded us why patience is one of tea's greatest virtues.
The Tea
A carefully crafted semi-oxidized tea from the Kangra Valley, this Himalayan Oolong offers remarkable balance between freshness and depth. Floral aromatics meet gentle sweetness, while each infusion gradually reveals new layers of texture and character.

The Story
I remember the first session with this tea more clearly than many others. It challenged my expectations of what an Indian oolong could be. Each infusion seemed to ask for a little more patience, and each rewarded that patience differently. It became one of the teas that quietly shaped the direction of Utpatti.
